Delicious food.... This is my second time here. First time in in the drive-thru I'm getting biscuits and gravy. It is 42 on Thursday morning. Cold, cold, cold, cold, cold cold

No need to wait to be seated. The service was excellent and on top of everything. The food was great and plentiful. The hot cakes were huge and delicious. They're not those premade type of pancakes, someone actually cooked them. The eggs Benedict was so so but not something we'll order again. I definitely want to come back in.

We didn't expect much when we stopped here on our motorcycle trip with friends. We were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the portions were large.

Art’s House (formerly Ol’ Rusty’s) – Willow Creek, CA Tucked away on the Trinity Highway in the heart of Willow Creek, Art’s House has rebranded from its former identity as Ol’ Rusty’s but kept its charm and creativity intact. Upon entering, you’re immediately greeted by an eclectic and playful menu displayed on the wall behind the register. It’s clear that this spot doesn’t take itself too seriously—quirky pictures alongside the descriptions make reading the menu almost as fun as tasting the food. The real surprise here? Their chicken fried in Rice Krispies batter. It was crispy, unique, and came in a large portion, perfect for those who love experimenting with flavors. I tried both the buffalo sauce and the Togorashi, a sweeter spicy sauce—both delivered a kick of heat and flavor that’s sure to impress any spice lover. We also sampled their burger, which easily stands among the best I’ve had. Perfectly seasoned and cooked, it’s a must-try for burger enthusiasts. To finish things off, the blackberry shake, made with fresh, local blackberries, was a standout. The berries weren’t from a pre-made puree but fresh from the season, adding a touch of natural sweetness to a creamy shake. It turns out that Art, the namesake of the place, is the young son of one of the owners—a nice personal touch to this already welcoming and enjoyable stop. If you’re passing through or looking for a unique dining experience, Art’s House should be on your list. With its innovative menu and fresh ingredients, it has all the potential to become a destination stop in the future.
